Creating Your Event

Start by creating your event in Nucleus. Choose the event date, time, location, and any custom fields you may need. We recommend enabling the 'Calendar Option' under 'Advanced Settings' so your attendees can easily save the date.

You can also enable 'Signup Mail' in 'Advanced Settings,' which will automatically send a confirmation email to your attendees with the event details and your personalized message.

Once the event is set up, head to the 'Event Overview' page. Here, you'll find your event's link and QR code to share (more on that later), and you can track signups, manage staff, and more. With 'Event Communications,' you can easily send emails or texts to your attendees about important updates like parking, timing, or other logistical information, all without leaving the Events module.

Day of the Event

When the big day arrives, you can use the 'Event Signup' tabs to check in guests, manage staff assignments, and track special categories such as VIPs or media attendees.

**Pro Tip:** Create a 'CRM Tag' in Tag Manager to track your attendees in event signups. You can use this tag later in email or text campaigns for follow-ups and future engagements.

Spreading the Word with Emails

Now that your event page is live, it's time to promote it. Start by creating an email campaign to notify potential attendees and encourage them to sign up. In your email, link images and buttons, or copy the links directly to your event page using the live link from your 'Event Overview.'

**Pro Tip:** Use the CRM tag you created for your event signups to segment your email list. This way, you can send targeted emails leading up to the event, increasing excitement and providing more details. You can even encourage attendees to share the event with others.

Promoting with Texts and P2P

Depending on your integrations, you can also use Text or P2P messaging to promote your event. Include the live QR code from your event or share the event link directly in the message so recipients can easily sign up. In these messages, you can provide more event details, announce special guests, or update your audience on ticket availability to boost engagement.

Automating the Process

Need to manage multiple tasks for your event? Use 'Automate' to create workflows that streamline your event planning. Set up automation triggers based on event signups to send emails, tag attendees, and handle other tasks automatically. This ensures you don't miss a step and saves you valuable time. You can even set up post-event automation to thank attendees, send surveys for feedback, or promote upcoming events.
